The Thatched Barn in the hamlet of Wepham, West Sussex overlooks the water meadows of the Arun Valley and boasts a magnificent view of Arundel Castle.

In 2004 Chris and Sandra Hales acquired the 17th Century barn and cattle sheds which were originally part of the Duke of Norfolk estate. These buildings have been uniquely converted to provide bed and breakfast accommodation around a private cobbled courtyard.

Chris has project managed the conversion and will be on hand throughout your stay to provide any assistance that you may require. Chris enjoys playing his guitar and when not working can be found entertaining the locals in the village pub.

Sandra an artist, working in egg tempera and other mediums, tutors her art classes in the barn. If you are a budding artist or an accomplished one reserve yourself a lesson, or alternatively take yourself off into the countryside to paint the landscape en plein air.

The barn is available for private hire and would provide an ideal setting for business meetings, presentations, product launches or small gatherings. It offers an integral kitchen and WC facilities.
